Why do I have to live in an area where the music scene is so shit/up its own arse that quality and decent musicians (me) cant even get a hint of a gig?? M

Makes sick to think that in order to get a CHANCE of a gig, that I would have to travel 40 miles!

It’s a joke! Why don’t people give others a chance anymore? What happened to being pleasantly surprised? Now people need to know everything about you and what you stand for before they will even look at you…and even then, anything but the ‘desired’ image isn’t good enough!!

I’m not in a good mood!! :@ music is the best and the worst thing in the world!

There really is nothing I prefer than the feeling of writing a song that I think ‘I would listen to this’, but that doesn’t happen very often for me!

It’s such an arduous process to finish a song that has seemingly run out of steam, yet that is the profession I wish to get into!
It seems that for every ‘good’ song I write there are 3-4 crappy ones preceding it…

Yet I struggle through because in the end songwriting, in my personal opinion, is the greatest of art forms as well as the most widely appreciated and I wouldn’t dream of doing anything else.

WELL, there’s a wee look inside my brain through the medium of mindless ramblings:)
